Sunnyside is a romantic old stone cottage in the small village of Box, at the edge of Minchinhampton Common and overlooking the Nailsworth valley, which offers a rural retreat almost at the heart of the Five Valleys. Downstairs accommodation consists of a dining room, sitting room and kitchen, with utility room. This immaculate cottage is traditionally furnished but has all modern comforts. Upstairs there is a bathroom, one double bedroom and one single. There is off-road parking for two small cars.

The Halfway House Inn, with real ales and good food is just three minutes walk. The Old Lodge Inn, renowned for its food, is a 10 minute ramble over the common. The village of Minchinhampton is about one mile away, as is the small market town of Nailsworth with excellent shops and restaurants. Stroud, the main town, is four miles away with an award winning farmers' market on Saturdays as well as usual shops and supermarkets.

The cottage is available all year round, including winter weekends and short breaks.

Our normal weeks are from Friday afternoon to Friday morning the following week, but Saturday changeovers may also be possible.

The following prices apply for short breaks when available - based on the full-week price quoted above. Mid-week breaks are Monday-Friday, weekend breaks Friday-Sunday/Monday. Other days may be available by arrangement.

£275 per week, 4-night mid-week break £215, 2/3-night weekend break £165/£190 (25pn)

£335 per week, 4-night mid-week break £255, 3-night weekend break £220 (35pn)

£395 per week, 4-night mid-week break £290, 3-night weekend break £250 (40pn)

Prices shown in brackets are for each extra night, should this be required.

Prices are for up to three adults sleeping and include bed linen and towels.

Prices include electricity and gas.

20% non-returnable deposit payable on booking, balance due six weeks before start date. No refunds can be made after the final payment becomes due.
